This policy describes the CoursePace browser extension, also named Course Pace, and this informational homepage.

The extension

CoursePace does not collect or transmit personal data, browsing history, course answers, or scores. It has no analytics, advertising, account system, or remote code.

When you open the extension, it examines the active page and accessible visible frames for a compatible Storyline player. It reads playback speed and timeline time. It changes speed or seeks near the end of the current timeline only when you press the relevant control. These readings stay in the popup.

Your speed preference

The last successfully applied speed is saved locally using browser extension storage. It is not synchronized or transmitted. Removing the extension removes that preference through the browser’s normal extension-data cleanup.

Permissions

activeTab grants temporary access to the page you invoke it on. scripting runs the bundled player adapter. storage remembers your speed preference locally.

This homepage

This page does not include analytics, advertising, tracking cookies, or a contact form. The interactive preview runs in your browser and sends no speed inputs to a server. The hosting provider may process routine technical request information, such as IP addresses, to deliver and secure the website. The Chrome Web Store and course websites have their own privacy practices.

Support

Support links open your email application. Any email you choose to send, including its contents and sender address, goes to killacon876@gmail.com and is used to respond to your request. The extension itself sends no email.
